Boards

I believe that everyone who can should give something back to the community by sitting on a board or committee.  I’ve learnt so much from fellow board members over the years, and hope that I’ve helped the organisations too.

At present, I am:

• Trustee of the BBC Performing Arts Fund
• Trustee of Motionhouse
• Council member of Spitalfields Music, London
• Director, Flatpack
• Member, Warwick Arts Centre Advisory Council
• Member, Advisory Group, Common Purpose West Midlands

I’ve been the treasurer of the British Horn Society, was a founding Director of Birmingham Professional Diversity, and am a former Chairman of Birmingham Future and Gigbeth . I’ve also sat on the Midlands panel for the Queen’s Awards for Voluntary Service, was a director of Birmingham Forward, and helped to set up The Birmingham Post Power 50.
